A 'LIL ABOUT US




We have been working to rescue horses for several years. We strive to better the life of every horse that we come in contact with. We are also driven to provide you with a place to turn to for all your horse needs. We offer wonderful horses to you at great prices. We also offer a place to bring your horse when you can no longer afford to keep it. You can leave them knowing that they will find a good home. Over the years, we have taken in "untrainable" horses, severely abused horses that even we began to wonder if they would ever get over it, and severely starved and neglected horses. No matter what the situation, we do our best to keep our gates open to any horse in need.

When we get a new horse in, we put them through a thorough evaluation that takes 2 weeks. During this time, we get to really know the horse and see how they act and react in different situations and circumstances. We treat them as if they were our own personal horses and therefore try to find out every detail about them. We make sure they are well mannered while doing general ground work such as ease of catching, leading, loading, trimming, grooming, and even bathing when weather permits as well as an assortment of other tasks we ask of them. We watch how they situate themselves in the hierarchy of a herd... do they get along with other horses? Are the dominant? We'll be able to tell ya. When it comes to the riding evaluations, no one else that I know of puts their horses through the variety of tasks we do and the few who might are not offering their horses at the low prices we are, you can easily expect to pay $2500 or up anywhere else. If a horse needs work on something like backing or crossing water for examples, we will work with the horse until it goes to it's new home.

We try to keep our horses priced under $1000.
We are open to trades but prefer to keep room for the horses who need us.

We do reserve the right to not sell a horse to anyone for any reason and also reserve the right to have any buyer sign a contract to keep these horses from ending up back in a sale or being passed around. We want to find these horses loving, competent homes where they will be loved for many years to come.
